Also, check that you are attempting to claim a blog. Technorati does not support claiming a feed or a plain website at this time. Note that a blog is indicated by:
1 ) Posts listed in historical chronological order
2 ) Permalinks for each post
3 ) Original Content
4 ) Posts structured with date, title, body, and footer that includes author and usually comments -

I sent this on the 'support form' but support has been short in coming.
I deleted my blog claim because of an updating/ping problem (the same one a bunch of blogger users have), and when reclaiming it Technorati can't find the claim code with spider-power. I guess I'm under review, I hopes it's nothing like the Anna Nicole baby review -- it could be a while

I have this problem too. My blog: http://elias.slask.pl/ - this blog was claimed, but I deleted it and then I couldn't claim it again, because "There was a problem claiming your blog"...

Hello Admin,
Over the past YEAR I have submitted a support form over 30 times for EACH of my 3 blogs that won't claim. I get the message immediately when trying to claim my blogs.
That's a total of 90 support forms that I have submitted over a 12 month period.
NOT ONCE did I ever receive a reply for you folks. Not Once. All I received was the automatic response telling me that you'd received my form and that someone would get back to me ... and if after a week I did not hear from you folks that I should contact you again.
I have called you folks on the phone and left messages. Nothing. No return calls.
So what was that again about subitting a Support Contact Form?
(I don't really expect an answer. I just want to see how long it will take for you folks to remove this post).
Nothing against you mr/mrs Admin ... you probably aren't directly responsible. This is directed to whomever has been receiving my forms and trashing them.

Hello andheresjohnny,
Please accept our sincerest apologies for the delay in getting back to you. We've been experiencing quite a backlog in support and are working hard to address everyone. If you could provide one of your ticket numbers, we'll look into it right away.
Thanks for using the support forum

That would be great. Thank you.
Below is the text of one of the auto-responses that I received from you folks back in October. Hopefully the ticket number is somewhere in there. It doesn't include any of my comments, but my 3 blogs in question are: http://www.data-entry-jobs.net , http://www.refinance-refinance.net , http://www.payday-loans-advance.net .
Many people have bookmarked the sites and return everyday for the new posts, so hopefully you folks looking into this won't slow down the sites too much.
Here is the text of the auto-reply:
Dear Technorati User,
Thank you so much for taking the time to drop us a line. If you are reporting a problem you may be having you will be contacted by a support technician once we have had a chance to review your message.
If you don't hear back from anyone within a week, please accept our apologies for the delay as we may be experiencing a backlog in Support. Please feel free to send us a reminder of your ticket. Please be sure to include the subject and ticket number, "[Support] I cannot claim my blog - It gives me an error message immediately #53756], " in your note so we may properly track your issue and its progress. In the meantime, you can also check our Support FAQ located at "http://technorati.com/help/faq.html" which may answer some of your questions.
If you have written us to share feedback, ideas, or suggestions (if the Subject line contains [Feedback] vs [Support]), you will not normally receive a response but we do appreciate and value any and all comments, alerts and suggestions.
We appreciate your patience and thank you for using Technorati! We hope we may be of service.
Best Regards,
Technorati Support

Admin,
Its been 5 days since you stated that you folks would "look into it right away". This is on top of the nearly 9 month wait since I started submitting support tickets. As my previous posts in this thread stated, I have submitted over 90 support tickets during that time with NO response.
My previous post (5 days ago) in this thread gave you all the information you requested. I have been trying to claim those same blogs everyday since, but I keep getting the same error message over and over.
Would you be more specific on what "we'll look into it right away" actually means? A week? A month? Another 9 months?
Thank you.

Well my blog is not spam and I've never gotten any response from support either. I've been trying for over a month to claim my blog. This week I went to daily requests via the "contact us" form. Never an acknowledgement. No support ticket issued. Nothing.

Yeah, my blogs aren't spam either. I have 100s of people whom revisit each site every day via bookmarks and RSS readers to read the latest content.
Good luck on waiting for a reply from the admins here though .. my wait has been 9+ months. Hell, they outright lied to me in this thread.

I'm a bit distressed. I have been a member since 2005 but after changing the format of my blog and other things, I came ot technorati to find that things were not working correctly. I desperately tried to find out how to fix it and finally deleted my claimed blog with the intention of starting over.
"When I tried to claim my blog again, I got this message:
There was a problem claiming your blog. Please try again in a few minutes. You can also go to Technorati Help for help claiming your blog."
I am on my second day of repeatedly trying to claim this blog. It isn't in any way possible that it could be spam or any other type of blog outside of Technorati's acceptable blogs.
Is Technorati not functioning anymore. I mean is everything now automated but the problems such as this cannot be repaired?
Does anybody know what an alternative is in the absence of Technorati? I just want to be able to be listed with such a service. In the past Technorati worked great but I'm a bit confused about its viability now.

Hi. Like most above I can't claim my blog after unclaiming it because it wasn't being updated, and I've also submitted my support ticket about a month ago. I'd appreciate some help here. I've got friends asking me why my blog's not listed on Technorati and I've got a decent amount of links to my blog http://technorati.com/search/eok.net
I'd really appreciate if you could help me out. The blog URL is http://eok.net. Thanks.

Technorati either doesn't seem interested in or capable of dealing with this problem. I have submitted a ticket and nothing is being done-this appears to be the case with many people in here. Just as my blog was getting lots of links Technorati stopped working.
I too recieved the Technorati auto response:
Dear Technorati User,

In the meantime, you can also check our Support Forum located at "http://support.technorati.com" which may answer some of your questions.

I'm giving them a week-then I go global with their lack of customer service! I would suggest everyone else with this problem do the same. If enough of us raise our voices they'll either fix the problem or a competitive service capable of of handling the task will emerge.
Market forces will take care of Technorati, for good or ill!

I have the same problem with two of my blogs stated as not updated for months when I do update them almost daily. Contacted Support in early Feb, 2007 and once again in early March. No response at all, no solution. Do I keep mailing them or quit?

Ditto on my blog:
http://www.simplyamusingblog.blogspot.comHas been updated daily and I have attempted to ping daily for the last 14 days to no avail. Still shows it hasn't been updated in 64 days. Email sent to support, no reply.

Yup.
Same problem with my blog at Http://acornservice.blogspot.com
I'm beginning to wonder if Technorati has left the building with all the lights on but no intention of coming back!
