What are Technorati Favorites?

The number of blogs gets bigger and bigger every day. Sometimes you just want to see what's up with a few of your favorite blogs. That's why we created Technorati Favorites.

To use Technorati Favorites, just create an account and log in (if you haven't already). Then just visit your Favorites page.

How do I add to my Favorites?

There are lots of ways to add blogs to your Favorites.

• Click the Favorites icon () from any search result or tags page. We recommend going shopping for new favorites in Blog Finder!
• You can also import URLs from other tools and services.
• Use the bookmarklet! Drag this link to your browser's toolbar and click it from any blog to add to your favorites. » Add to Technorati Favorites

Favorites will accept any valid URL, but it works best for sites that update a lot, like blogs!

How do I tag my Favorites?

You can tag your Favorites with words or phrases like "friends"" or "celebrity gossip." To create tags, go to the Blogs by Favorites tab and click on the "edit tags" link next to the tag icon, underneath the blog title. Enter as many tags as you like; seperate each tag with a space, and if you want to use more than one word as one tag, use double quotes around the phrase. When you are done typing out all your tags, click "Add tags."

Clicking on a tag in the left-hand list will show you all the recent posts tagged with that term. To get back to your general Favorites page, click on the My Favorites link in the page title.

How can I put my Favorites on my site?

Got a blog of your own? You can advertise it and your favorites with a couple handy tools.

• Help Technorati members favorite your blog with a handy button. Just go to your blogs page in your account and click the Edit Settings button next to the blog you want to add the button to. Scroll down and pick the button you like, the codes already customized to your blog.
• You can also put the latest headlines on your site with a free Favorites Widget.
• And is there RSS available? Of course there is. Just look for the RSS button ().

How can I share my Favorites?

All Technorati Favorites are public! You can share them with your friends with a unique URL. Just look for a link at the top of your Favorites page. It will also be linked from your profile.

How do I delete my Favorites?

In order to remove one of your favorites, make sure you are signed into your account. Click on the "Favorite Blogs" Tab and find the blog you wish to delete. Click on the near the title of the post or blog. You should then see a message that the blog has been removed from your Favorites. Click "Okay" and the Favorite should be removed with the next page refresh.
