The Technorati Blog Directory

You can always search the Technorati Blog Directory to find blogs about the subjects you're interested in or to find blogs by their blog title. Since we classify blogs based on the tags they use most often, you can also browse by topic by clicking on interesting tags. Just stalking? Click a member face to discover blogs about the unexpected!

Add your blog to the Directory

It's not just about finding things though—it's about being found. You can list your owm blog(s) in the Technorati Blog Directory in several ways.

  • Already a Technorati Member?

    As a member you gain several benefits, such as the ability to include a photo and description with your blog.

    Step 1: Claim your blog! Depending on your blogging platform, there may be several ways to claim your blog to establish that you are its owner. We'll take you through the process step by step.

    Step 2: Each blog you claim will be listed on the Your Blogs page. To make sure the world can see it on Technorati, click the "Configure Blog" button and check to make sure that "Include this blog in Technorati's Blog Finder" is checked.

  • Not a Member yet?

    Step 1: Become a Technorati Member! It takes less than a minute.

    If you're not a Technorati member, don't worry! You can play too. Just put some code on your site so we know what tags you want to associate with your blog. The code looks like this

    <a href="http://technorati.com/blogs/[tagname]" rel="tag directory">[tagname]</a>

    There are two important parts to this code. First, make sure the URL it links to is a directory. Of course, we'd love it if you linked to us, but you can link to any directory you like. These would work just fine, too

    • <a href="http://dmoz.org/Arts/Movies/" rel="tag directory">Movies</a>
    • <a href="http://dir.yahoo.com/Recreation/Travel/" rel="tag directory">Travel</a>

    Second, make sure that rel="tag directory" is in the link. That's what tells us that this is a tag you want applied to your blog.

    All we ask is that the tag you use actually has something to do with your blog. You can list up to 20! Once the code is there, ping us and we'll get you listed ASAP.

Once you've tagged your blog with either of the methods above, your blog should be listed in the Blog Directory in a few minutes (up to an hour during periods of intense activity). Thank you for participating!

List of the three most recent posts from the blog. Each result begins with a post title and excerpt from the blog post. Click it to visit the original post.
Blog reactions
Number of posts linking to the blog. Posts are arranged "freshness", newest to oldest by default.
