    Hi,
    We have a blog whose url is http://firefinance.blogspot.com/
    Today we found that this blog's authority fell from 577 to 190! Also its rank fell from 5k+ to 25k+.
    How is this possible in one day? Can you kindly look into the issue and help us?
    A major part of our ad revenue is based on technorati rankings. So this problem is of utmost importance to us.
    We shall be extremely grateful if you could kindly help us out.

    Hello mothanskin,

    Authority is based on the number of blogs that has linked to you within the past 180 days. It looks like that there was a large number of blogs whose links aged out of that window recently which would explain the drop.
